On Friday, March 4, 2016, ALEX AND ANI was honored by the New England Board of Higher Education and received the 2016 Excellence Award for Business Contribution to Higher Education. We were nominated for this award by Dr. Nancy Carriuolo, President of Rhode Island College.

The event was hosted at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts with over 400 leaders of higher education, government and business from across New England in attendance. Mark Coleman, Vice President of University Relations, accepted the award on behalf of the company, expressing our commitment to contributing to the success of students and businesses in New England.
ALEX AND ANI has intense involvement with higher education within our local Rhode Island community, including Bryant University, Rhode Island College, and the University of Rhode Island. Our involvement includes supporting business development initiatives, art classrooms, and science labs so that students in the community have state-of-the-art facilities and tools needed to successfully enter the job force and contribute to our great state.
